Reminder: General PTO Meeting on Friday, January 13th at 8am in the Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room.
A general meeting will be followed by:
Patricia McSharry, who will explain SuccessMaker (thank you, Patricia!)
and a special guest speaker, Julie Lichty Balay, MS RD, who will speak about nutrition.

Dear OWNCS families,
Welcome back to school! OWNCS Parent Teacher Organization welcomes all children and their families back to school. And a great big welcome to our new families!
Once your child is enrolled at OWN, you, as parent or guardian, are automatically PTO members. OWNCS PTO helps to make our school a better place by building a strong school community and raising funds. PTO funds are used to pay for special programs in the school such as the teachers’ wish-list, parent workshops, recess equipment, teacher luncheon supplies and extra field trip expenses.
To help speed our process in collecting funds we are asking each family to contribute a minimum donation of $10 per child, or $20 per family. We of course would be happy to accept more money if you are able. This will help decrease the need for extra fundraising during the year!
Please send your donation to school in care of the PTO in an envelope marked with your name and your child’s teacher’s name by September 16th.
